Sharing my love of wild ocean spaces and the African plains.

Although I have been an adventurer for many years I first took up photography in 2012 when I was fortunate to work on a consulting project in Johannesburg.  Whenever possible I would spend the weekend in the bush (even if it meant working on my laptop between game drives and at hides). I also met a wonderful photographer Jaco Venter who was kind enough to share his extensive photographic knowledge with me.

I learnt to dive almost 15 years ago however a chance encounter with my now friend Michael AW at the airport in Johannesburg turned into an underwater photography obsession.  I currently use a Nikon D3S with a variety of lenses and a Seacam  underwater housing.

If you would like to use one of these photos (higher resolution is available) or many others besides please contact me at  I am slowly working through my images so I hope to add many more galleries over the coming months.
